Laser Tattoo Removal

Vein Specialists Institute offers an effective solution to your unwanted tattoos. As a simple outpatient procedure, it fits easily into your busy schedule.

Laser tattoo removal works by focusing laser energy to break up the pigment and color in your tattoo.

REMOVE ALL TYPES OF TATTOOS

As Palm Desert’s leading experts in tattoo removal, Vein Specialists Institute has helped patients with a very wide range of tattoos. These are the types of tattoos that we commonly remove:

  • Names and words – written in cursive and block letters
  • Rings – symbols, words, bands worn under rings or jewelry
  • Designs – hearts, characters, animals, flowers, tribal art, barbed wire, and more
  • Sleeves/large artwork
  • Portions of tattoos – we can remove just a small part of a larger tattoo

WHAT IS PICOSURE® TATTOO REMOVAL?

PicoSure is the world’s first and only picosecond aesthetic laser cleared by the FDA. Recognized as a breakthrough in tattoo and brown spot removal, PicoSure will help achieve visibly clearer, ink-and spot-free skin faster. Even difficult ink colors such as blues and greens, as well as previously treated tattoos, can be removed in fewer treatments with better clearance and improved recovery time. PicoSure uses the latest technology to remove ink colors and brown spots by delivering ultra-short picosecond pulses of energy in the skin. These pulses create a photomechanical effect, or PressureWave, that targets ink and brown spots into tiny, dust-like particles which are easily eliminated by the body. This results in clearer skin with fewer treatments without injuring the surrounding skin.

WHAT IS REVLITE® LASER TATTOO REMOVAL?

The RevLite laser produces rapid, short pulse widths of energy – this limits the healthy skin’s exposure to heat which makes treatments safe and fast. The resulting effect on the ink is vibration, shattering the target molecules.

Your tattoo will require multiple sessions before it’s fully removed. The amount of sessions or treatments will depend on how large your tattoo is, what sort of ink has been used and the length of time between your sessions.
